Mark Snoxell is appointed as the CEO of The Travel Concierge Sri Lanka

Mark has been representing The Travel Concierge Sri Lanka in Australia and New Zealand through Exposure Downunder since 2019. He brought in immense expertise and knowledge in market entry, positioning, product development, social media, sales & marketing strategies. He has been instrumental in driving The Travel Concierge future ready and specially weathering the tough times of the pandemic. Mark fell in love with Sri Lankan cuisines at first bite. Later he fell in love with the island and its people too. Over the years he has travelled to Sri Lanka extensively and have tried out many experiences himself. Mark has always been a true friend of Sri Lanka and its people.  

From an early age, Mark pursued his passion for travel and has been fortunate to have held many exciting roles across the globe including:

  • Being a tour guide in Europe
  • Retail travel in the UK
  • British Airways, based in London
  • Specialist group travel New Zealand
  • Corporate Sales Executive in the Middle East
  • Public Relations & Marketing in Kuala Lumpur & Singapore

While visiting Sydney, Australia, Mark was enticed into the corporate world where he ended up spending eighteen years excelling in the aggressive sales environments of Human Resources, Recruitment & People Management Software and clients included Qantas, Virgin Australia & Airservices Australia.

During this time Mark embraced the technical side of sales and became a certified sales trainer of several globally recognised sales methodologies. 

Despite enjoying a successful career “suited up”, Mark had a yearning to return to travel and make his work a lifestyle, incorporating more sensory interests such as art, music, food & exploration.

With his analytical & focused approach and desire for measurable & high-quality outcomes, Mark has already demonstrated an ability to get results in today’s travel & tourism and it’s not an exaggeration to call him a Marketing guru.

Innately, Mark strives for continuous improvement.  As such, is aware of the need to understand new technologies and the impact on us all; ensuring we embrace these while helping people to truly experience the real world.
